The stylish Chippendale chairs and table are named after the famous 18th century English cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale. The Chippendale style furniture in England was the first style of furniture named after a cabinet maker rather then a monarch. These swivel chairs are extremely comfortable with the contoured seats and are very “social” chairs allowing you to swing around and chat with anyone – swivels also makes it easier for people to move away from the table – since you can just swing around and stand up – and not push back on the chair and scrap the deck – floor.
